What is Micro Needle Therapy?

The micro-needle therapy uses 100% natural healing process of human body. The mechanism of the treatment is using hundreds of extremely fine needles to injures the skin sufficiently enough to stimulate collagen/elastin production. Resulting micro-channels from the epidermal layer to deeper dermal layer also aid in infusing therapeutic serums for greater penetration and increasing overall efficacy.

This special treatment is non-surgical and non-ablative, yet clinical studies have shown it to be more effective than ablative treatments like laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, and chemical peel and just as effective as non-ablative treatments like IPL, CO2 laser, and Fraxel in stimulating collagen and elastin production to thicken the skin thereby erasing wrinkles and “smile” lines, stretching marks, depressed acne scarring, surgical scars, pore size, and sun-damaged skin, uneven skin texture, uneven skin coloration (pigmentation). In addition, the newest MTS technology effectively controls and treats active acne problems. It is excellent for all skin types, including Caucasian, African American, Asian and Latin skin.

Types of Techniques

There are several types of treatment devices and needle lengths. An appropriate type of technique and the intensity of a program will be carefully selected depending on the condition.

1. Derma Roller

Roller needle consists of specially treated 192 very fine high strength stainless needles to penetrate the skin sufficiently enough to stimulate collagen production and regenerate the skin quickly and prevents a wound in the skin. Roller Needle is a FDA-approved supplemental medical tool that is ideal for non-surgical and non-abrasive treatment of various skin conditions such as aging (wrinkles, stretching), scarring (acne, surgical), and hyperpigmentation.

2. Derma Stamp

Stamping needles are vertical micro-needle therapy penetrating straight into the skin without stretching or pulling. This helps to reduce bleeding, downtime, and the risk of adverse reactions, such as post-inflammatory pigmentation, on ethnic and sensitive skin types, and it is can even be used on active acne to promote increased oxygen to clogged pores. The mild controlled wound created with the Stamp encourages skin renewal for a healthier looking, more youthful complexion.

3. Automatic Microneedle Therapy System

It is an electronic, automated micro needle, with guides that adjusts needle length. The perpendicular movement of the needle tip enables treatment of narrow areas, and lessens the pain.
