Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine

Acupuncture is one of the main forms of treatment in traditional Chinese   medicine. The acupuncture technique involves the usage of very thin, sterile, stainless steel needles that are inserted into specific points along the meridian to disperse blockage and mobilize the body’s natural immune system.  Acupuncture is not painful. Many patients will fall asleep during their appointment while the needles are being placed, and will wake-up feeling relaxed and refreshed!

Acupuncture treats to strengthen physical condition, prevent disease, control pain and to achieve longevity. Acupuncture aims not only to eliminate or alleviate symptoms, but to increase the ability to function and to improve the quality of life.

Acupuncture and Oriental Herbal Medicine are often combined to give total harmony and balance to the body, thus maximizing the treatments affect. Each individual herb will have different properties such as taste, temperature and ingredients.
